Command Received – A signal from a remote, wall switch or app tells the motor to move up, down, or to a preset position.

Motor Engages – An AC or DC motor inside the tube starts turning, powered by mains electricity, a rechargeable battery, or a small solar panel.

Gearbox Reduces Speed, Increases Torque – A planetary or worm gearbox reduces the motor’s high-speed rotation down to slower, higher-torque rotation suitable for lifting fabric or slats.
